American Government/Economics: Aug 31-Sep 4

This week we will begin our investigation of the U.S. Constitution and why it replaced the Articles of Confederation. The Constitution is the foundation on which U.S. government and society are based, and it affects our lives every day. In the later part of the week we will look more closely at the structure of our government. We will begin a group project on the 3 branches that make up our government: the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial. Here is a great link to the U.S. Constitution: http://constitutionus.com/ and check out the Bill of Rights: http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/constitution.billofrights.html
